With a background in competitive tennis, a master’s degree in Motor Learning and Control from Columbia University, and a Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification (NSCA), Carolyn has spent over two decades blending fitness, athletics, and education. She served on the faculty of the Equinox Fitness Training Institute before her own pregnancy experience inspired her to address the gap in evidence-based perinatal fitness education. Today, she is the architect of ProNatal Fitness’s “Performance Training Approach,” the co-author of five ProNatal Fitness courses, and a sought-after national presenter at fitness conferences such as IDEAFIT, NSCA, and ACSM. Outside of her work, she stays on her toes keeping up with her very active, athletic son.
A former corporate marketing executive turned fitness entrepreneur, Brittany founded ProNatal Fitness in 2015 after experiencing firsthand the lack of evidence-based education and resources in perinatal fitness. Determined to set a new standard, she assembled a team of experts to create the industry’s “Gold Standard” in pre and postnatal fitness education. Brittany holds a BBA from the University of Michigan, a Personal Training Certification from NASM, and a Group Fitness Certification from ACE, along with multiple pre and postnatal specializations, including Corrective Exercise, and Diastasis & Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation. As a mom of two, and the co-author of five ProNatal Fitness courses, she brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her mission.
