Our Approach

The motherhood journey places very specific, high-stress demands on your body, and that’s why we view training for it like the major athletic event that it is.  Our goal is to help you successfully manage the increased stresses placed on your body throughout this period, and emerge even stronger than when you started. Therefore, our trainers utilize a Performance Training Approach to help you move through your pregnancy with energy and ease, confidently prepare for childbirth, fully recover and rebuild your core afterward, and get back to doing everything you love (and more).

When I started working with my trainer after the birth of my second child, I had a large abdominal separation (diastasis recti). Now my abs feel like the strongest part of my body and I'm back to lifting weights and doing all the things I used to love doing.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

When we resume in-home sessions, we will follow the procedures below to ensure the health and safety of our trainers and clients:

In-person sessions limited to in-home and outside (no building gyms)

Clients must use their own equipment**

Trainers will wear masks

Trainers will wash hands immediately upon arrival

Trainers will avoid hands-on corrections

20-hour cancellation policy waved for illness

Flexibility in rescheduling for outside sessions due to inclement weather

*Use of public transportation must be mutually agreed upon by trainer and client (we will try to match you with a trainer within walking or biking distance first).

**Our trainers are creative with using what equipment you have. If you need to purchase equipment, all you really need are these resistance bands and a door anchor, but you can also discuss this with your trainer.
