FAQs

No, this course was not developed by ProNatal Fitness (as the breadth of this topic is beyond our area of expertise). It was developed by the Mental Wellbeing Association (MWA) in partnership with 15 experts in the mental health & fitness space. ProNatal Fitness has reviewed the course in detail and established a partnership with MWA to deliver the course to our community.

This course is applicable for ALL client populations, so you will be able to apply the concepts you learn with all your clients. Of course, this knowledge is especially important when working with pre & postnatal clients given what a transformative period this is, and the degree of psychological changes and challenges clients go through during this time.

This is a self-paced course delivered on the exact same learning platform as the ProNatal Fitness courses. If you have already taken a ProNatal Fitness course, you can access it with your same login information.

You have lifetime access. So, complete the course on your own timeline and know you will always have the videos and materials to refer back to.

Your certification grants you the right to call yourself a Mental Well-Being Certified Fitness Professional.

Yes. This certification must be renewed every two years. To renew your certification, you must:

  1. Pay a renewal fee of $99 every two years on the anniversary of your completion date
  2. Fulfill 20 hours of continuing education credits (CECs) every two years through the Mental Wellbeing Association (MWA).

When you enroll in the course, you will be given a 1-year complimentary membership with MWA. Your MWA membership allows you to take all the courses you need to fulfill your 20-hour CEC recertification requirement.

After 1 year, you will have the option of renewing your MWA membership at a fee of $149 per year. This will not be automatically charged. Continuing your membership gives you access to all the CEC courses you need to fulfill your re-certification requirement at no additional charge (along with additional resources listed in the next FAQ).

If you choose not to continue your membership with MWA, you can still purchase courses through them a la carte to meet your CEC requirement for re-certification.

Regardless of whether you choose to purchase courses separately or pay the annual membership fee to receive access to all courses, you still need to pay a $99 re-certification fee every 2 years.

Your MWA membership gives you access to all the continuing education courses you’d need to meet your CEC recertification requirement. You also receive access to ongoing webinars, articles, guided meditations, and other and other professional development tools.

Your course enrollment includes a complimentary year in the Mental Wellbeing Association (MWA) Membership (no credit card required). After 1 year, you will be given the option of renewing at $149 per year, but this will not be automatically charged.

If you don’t wish to continue your membership with MWA, you can always purchase CEC courses from them a la carte.

Payment plan options are available through Affirm for U.S. credit cards. Payment plans are personalized based on your credit score. Therefore, you will be asked to provide some very brief information to check your credit score. Note, this process is considered a soft credit check. It does NOT impact your credit score. You’ll be able to see your monthly payments and total payment (including interest if any). Then you can decide whether you want to proceed, and if so, which payment option works best for you.
